QUOTE QUESTIONS

What makes a quote useful before booking?

A useful quote is a route-specific operating scope, not just a single transport number.

What information should I include in a freight quote request?

Provide the pickup city or port, destination, cargo-ready date, package count, dimensions, gross weight, commodity, Incoterm and required delivery date. Add battery, oversized or special-handling details when relevant.

Can I request a quote before the final package data is ready?

Yes, but identify estimates clearly and update them before booking. Final dimensions, weight or cargo status can change carrier acceptance, mode selection and the quote scope.

Will the quote include customs and final delivery?

The operating scope should state what is included, excluded or handled by another party. Ask for origin handling, main carriage, clearance coordination, destination charges and final delivery to be separated clearly.

How quickly will someone respond?

New requests are reviewed Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 18:00 CST. The response depends on the completeness of the cargo and route information and does not represent a guaranteed quote time.

Can you recommend the best mode instead of quoting only one mode?

Yes. The form lets you request a recommendation. The team can compare ocean, air, road, rail or a combined plan against the cargo, route and delivery requirement.
